How much does a social media scheduler cost?
A plan’s monthly price is only one part of the bill. Compare profile and seat fees, publishing caps, creative allowances, and the work the tool removes.

Short answer
Add the base subscription, extra profile or seat charges, publishing limits, creative generation, and workflow costs; compare the total for your real monthly use.
Compare the same team and workload
Social scheduler pricing varies because plans include different combinations of channels, users, scheduled posts, approvals, analytics, and creative tools. A low entry price can increase when you add profiles or teammates. Another service may cost more upfront but include more of the workflow your team needs.
Before comparing plans, write down how many brands, social profiles, teammates, drafts, and published posts you expect in a normal month. Check every candidate against those same assumptions. A price for one profile should not be compared with another tool’s price for a team workspace.
Include the costs around publishing
Check whether the subscription charges extra for each connected profile or teammate. Then look for limits on scheduled posts, account types, approval workflows, analytics, and the networks you can publish to. If AI images or video are included, find out whether they use one shared allowance, whether unused credits roll over, and what happens when the allowance runs out.
Count the work that still happens outside the scheduler. Your team might export media, move files between tools, collect approvals in chat, or recreate visual assets for each campaign. Estimate that effort honestly. Software can reduce handoffs, but writing, review, and platform checks still take time.
Estimate a typical month
For each plan, calculate the subscription plus any variable charges. Confirm it supports the profile and team count you need, then check your expected publishing volume against its limits. If it includes an AI allowance, translate the allowance into the assets you plan to make. Different credit systems are not directly comparable.
Agenda Panda’s Starter plan costs $9/month and includes up to 350 images or 5 videos for AI generation. Scheduling and social account connections have no per-channel fee, and there is no per-seat fee. X publishing has a separate monthly plan cap, currently 100 posts on Starter. Compare that creative allowance and posting cap separately when you estimate the plan’s fit.
Check fit before choosing the lowest price
A plan is poor value if it does not support an important account type or format. Confirm which account types you can connect, which media formats can publish, and whether your team’s required review workflow is included. Features and platform permissions can change, so check the current product terms before switching tools.
Look at cancellation, export, and ownership as well. Make sure your team can retrieve approved creative assets and understands what happens to scheduled posts if the subscription changes. A fair comparison includes price, limits, workflow, and a workable exit path.
Questions.
- What is the average price of a social media scheduler?
- There is no useful average without specifying the number of profiles, users, publishing volume, and features. Compare current plans using the same team and workload assumptions.
- Do social media schedulers charge per account?
- Some charge per profile or channel, while others include multiple connections in a subscription. Check the plan terms and distinguish account connections from network-specific publishing caps.
- Does a scheduler subscription include AI content generation?
- Not always. Some products charge separately or limit generation with credits. Compare the AI allowance and publishing limits as separate parts of the total cost.
